Sam Halford Managing Director

Sam Halford is an experienced Managing Director having spent many years working in both the public and private sectors. Prior to joining Equiniti he operates as an International Business Consultant supporting major programmes in numerous countries. He joined Equiniti some 10 years ago and has held a number of key management positions. He was Group Operations Director prior to his current role as Managing Director of Equiniti India. Equiniti India was established in 2014 with the aim of delivering BPO and IT services to the Equiniti Group and its numerous Clients. The service has grown considerably since its initial launch with the addition of People Services, Marketing & Sales Support and Finance Shared Service. Employee numbers have increased four fold since 2014 and will continue to build in 2019.

Ashok Shunmugavel General Manager

Ashok joined Equiniti India as General Manager in May 2014. He manages the Operations(BPO), IT Services and Infosec functions of Equiniti India aligned with business goals and growth strategy of Equiniti, UK. He is responsible for Service attainment, people management, building functional and technical capabilities addressing the current and future service needs of the Equiniti India. He is also the Director in the Board of Equiniti India.

A Post graduate in Business Administration with seasoned managerial experience across Operations and IT domains in the financial sector. Prior to joining Equiniti, he had worked for SQS, the world's leading specialist in software quality. He was responsible for delivery profit margins, service delivery aganist SLA, account mining, client engagement and people management. He had also worked closely with the Board in Strategic annual planning exercises.

Jam.png Ramanujam M.S. IT Director - India

Ramanujam has been associated with Equiniti for 11+ years with a strong IT background that spans 19 years working in various technologies. Being an early member, he was instrumental in setting up the Development practice involving Microsoft technologies that provides services to various Business Units and also played a key role in building a CoE on ALM working closely with Microsoft. His responsibilities during the initial days ranged from Project Management to Architecting solutions and then eventually moved into managing the entire IT Services including Information Security and IT Infrastructure Operations provided by Equiniti India. 

Prior to joining Equiniti, he was working with Sage Software as an Account Manager. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Science followed by a Masters Degree in Business Administration and ITIL v3 Certification and is also a Certified PRINCE2 Practitioner.

Sriram has rich experience in the field of International trade, brand management, marketing and communications. He is responsible for setting up of the marketing team in India to support the activities of Equiniti Group’s marketing team and build Equiniti India brand by utilising various channels of communications. His role also involves discussion with various companies in India for a possible partnership.

Prior to joining Equiniti, Sriram used to work for the UK government’s commercial department the UK Trade & Investment, where he worked closely with central government and different state governments, chamber of commerce and trade associations to support both trade and investment between India & UK. He has also worked with the World Trade Center supporting international trade facilitation services and top advertising firms such Mudra Group & Dainik Jagran group in various branding & consumer connect campaigns.

Chandrasekar K joined Equiniti India as “Senior Executive” in Nov 2013. He manages the entire office administration, Procurement, Physical security & Access control management, Flight and Hotel bookings management, Hospitality, Transport & Health and Safety of Equiniti, India.

A graduate in Business Administration with 10 years of experience. Prior to joining Equiniti, he had worked for Wipro India private limited. He had also worked closely with the health and safety management. During his early part of career, he had worked with Slash support as an Admin Executive. He has completed OHSAS Lead auditor training program 18001:2007 on OH&S Management system Lead auditor and also participated the “National cyber safety and security standards summit – 2014”.

Sreekesh C Head Of Operations

Sreekesh joined Equiniti India as Head of Operations in Jan 2014 during inception. He manages the Operations(BPO) team in Equiniti India aligned with business goals and growth strategy of Equiniti, UK. He is responsible for managing all the aspects of operations across diversified range of portfolios which includes Shareholder Processing, Investment Services, Employee benefit solutions, Pensions administration, Payroll Services, Reconciliation, Customer Due Diligence and People Services. His responsibility involves delivery of service against SLA, delivery of profit margin on ops budget, Process Management, People Management, Client Engagement, leading transformation in ops and also successful on-boarding of services/clients for Operations.

He comes with a vast experience in financial service domain and has served in companies like Infosys and State Street Syntel before joining Equiniti India. He is a certified professional from the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments (CISI), UK.

Karthikeyan is a Finance professional with 24 plus years of experience encompassing exposure in Finance and Accounting, Internal Audit, Costing, Budgeting and Corporate MIS, Debt Management, Treasury and Procurement support across industry verticals, decade and a quarter in core manufacturing sector – major stint at Ashok Leyland and 11 plus years in the Business Process Services segment .

Shared Service Center exposure ranging from Deal set up through Transition/Ramp up and stabilisation and all aspects of Service Delivery for major Client Contracts at Accenture (six plus years) and at Sopra Steria as Head of Service Delivery F&A and Payroll – areas of expertise would include Relationship and Key Account Management, Customer Satisfaction & Allegiance, Risk Management & Performance Metrics, Operations Management /Responsibility for P&L and Leadership Development.

Srinivasan Veeraraghavan Head Finance

Srinivasan joined Equiniti as the Head Finance in March 2015. He holds end to end responsibility of the Finance function that include  managing day to day activities, Monthly management reporting, Audits, Treasury,  Compliances, Budgetary controls, Payroll, High value negotiations and  procurement activities etc.

A Management graduate from the Institute for Financial Management and Research with a seasoned experience on the Finance and accounts activities.He has been instrumental in transitioning the accounting activities of the Group covering Philippines, North America, UK, Northern Ireland and centralization of accounting functions across 22 locations in India to the Global accounting hub in Chennai. His strengths include People Management, SLA compliance, MI, Process reengineering, making complex things simpler.

Mani manages the entire L&D function of Equiniti India. He comes with a strong experience into Learning and performance consulting, designing customized solution based on the need, building competency framework, learning impact measurement, learning analytics and organizing events. He is very instrumental in creating the learning charter with clear strategy depicting the focus areas for the organization. He has brought in the learning culture transformation in EQI. He is someone who firmly believes in bringing change through various bite sized learning initiatives. He earns the credit for creating the L&D function called “EQI Academy” in Equiniti India right from its scratch. He has demonstrated his capability in delivering and publishing the success stories on the outcome based learning for key problem statements picked up from few business units. His responsibility involves the enablement of all EQI staff against the key competencies required for them to perform their roles.
