Sam is an experienced Managing Director having spent many years working in a senior capacity in both the public and private sectors. He has operated internationally as a management consultant working for one of the leading consultancy firm and also set up his own Management and Design consultancy business. He joined EQ 11 years ago and has held a number of key management positions. He was Group Operations Director before taking up his existing position as Managing Director of EQ India in 2014. In 2013 Sam was a member of the Exco team who made the decision to establish the native Indian business and transition services away from the outsourced companies. Sam is chair of the EQ India Board of Directors.
Sam holds a number of positions in supporting the India/UK business dialogue. He is a member of the CBI India Advisory group and a member of Economic Times of India Advisory council. He also is part of the British Business Group executive committee.
Ramanujam (Jam) has been associated with EQ for 11+ years with a strong IT background that spans 19 years working in various technologies. Being an early member, he was instrumental in setting up the Development practice involving Microsoft technologies that provides services to various Business Units and also played a key role in building a CoE on ALM working closely with Microsoft. His responsibilities during the initial days ranged from Project Management to Architecting solutions and then eventually moved into managing the entire IT Services including Information Security and IT Infrastructure Operations provided by EQ India.
Prior to joining EQ, he was working with Sage Software as an Account Manager. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Science followed by a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and ITIL v3 Certification and is also a Certified PRINCE2 Practitioner.
Chandrasekar has overall 12 years of experience in office services in the IT/ITES sector has good exposure & experience in Information security, Business continuity management, Data Protection (GDPR), Risk management, office administration, Procurement, Occupational Health, and Safety & Concierge services.
Chandrasekar’s proven strength is in cost optimization, vendor management, compliance & efficient office space management. He is currently leading the office services for EQ India (Chennai & Bangalore) with key responsibilities towards Information Security & GDPR, Business Continuity Management, Risk management, Facility Management, Office Administration, Physical security, Health and Safety, Procurement, Travel & Accommodation,(Visa, Local Currency, Travel insurance, Flight & Hotel arrangements), Employees Transportation.
He enjoys working with folks who have a strong desire to succeed and willing to take measured risks. His current focus areas are Artificial intelligence, Technology adoption, Cost optimization, Compliance and statutory attainments. He also has achieved certifications on Health and Safety, Information Security Management system, Business continuity Management system, GDPR Foundation and Practitioner and Certified Data protection officer.
Sreekesh joined EQ India as Head of Operations in Jan 2014 during inception. He manages the Operations (BPO) team in EQ India aligned with business goals and growth strategy of EQ, UK. He is responsible for managing all the aspects of operations across diversified range of portfolios which includes Shareholder Processing, Investment Services, Employee benefit solutions, Pensions administration, Payroll Services, Reconciliation, Customer Due Diligence and People Services. His responsibility involves delivery of service against SLA, delivery of profit margin on ops budget, Process Management, People Management, Client Engagement, leading transformation in ops and also successful on-boarding of services/clients for Operations.
He comes with a vast experience in financial service domain and has served in companies like Infosys and State Street Syntel before joining EQ India. He is a certified professional from the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments (CISI), UK.
Karthikeyan is a Finance professional with 24 plus years of experience encompassing exposure in Finance and Accounting, Internal Audit, Costing, Budgeting and Corporate MIS, Debt Management, Treasury and Procurement support across industry verticals, decade and a quarter in core manufacturing sector – major stint at Ashok Leyland and 11 plus years in the Business Process Services segment.
Shared Service Center exposure ranging from Deal set up through Transition/Ramp up and stabilisation and all aspects of Service Delivery for major Client Contracts at Accenture (six plus years) and at Sopra Steria as Head of Service Delivery F&A and Payroll – areas of expertise would include Relationship and Key Account Management, Customer Satisfaction & Allegiance, Risk Management & Performance Metrics, Operations Management /Responsibility for P&L and Leadership Development.
Karthikeyan Joined EQ India recently as the Head of Finance Shared Services post a five plus year stint at Sopra Steria.
Srinivasan joined EQ as the Head Finance in March 2015. He holds end to end responsibility of the Finance function that include managing day to day activities, Monthly management reporting, Audits, Treasury, Compliances, Budgetary controls, Payroll, High value negotiations and procurement activities etc.
A Management graduate from the Institute for Financial Management and Research with a seasoned experience on the Finance and accounts activities. He has been instrumental in transitioning the accounting activities of the Group covering Philippines, North America, UK, Northern Ireland and centralization of accounting functions across 22 locations in India to the Global accounting hub in Chennai. His strengths include People Management, SLA compliance, MI, Process reengineering, making complex things simpler.
Manikandan is a passionate L&D professional who has been in the field for a decade now. He has been with EQ for three years now. Mani holds a Master of Technology in Computer Science & Engineering with excellent academic scores. He was hired as Training Manager in Sep 2016 & now he heads the Learning & Development wing within EQ India looking after Chennai & Bangalore workforce’s Talent Development. Mani’s key strengths that pace him unique are his Strategic Thinking, Millennial Friendly Content Developing skills, Fostering Creativity & Innovation in all learning solutions, Facilitation Skills, Emotional Intelligence, Digital skills & Coaching Skills. He developed the L&D function right from the scratch to an award winning level with almost all avenues and modes of learning in place for staff.
He has made all the learning offerings align to Role Based Learning strategy. All these have taken the L&D from level 0 (Adhoc) to level 4 (Managed) in terms of the learning maturity level. L&D has earned so many awards and accolades to EQ India. As learning is generally aversive in nature, Mani feels that learning offerings should always be with a lot of “pull factors” than of pushing them to staff.
Nikhil is a passionate HR professional who possesses 18+ years of experience working with various multinational organisations. Being a post graduate in Human Resources, he has managed various programs from like Talent Acquisition, Employee Engagement, Performance Management Strategy and implementation, Succession planning, Competency development, Compensation & benefit, People compliance, HR operations, HR automation & HR analytics and D&I.
